Larry Liston is a Colorado legislator. Elected to the Colorado House of Representatives as a Republican, Liston represents House District 16.

Larry Liston has lived in Colorado Springs since 1967 and HD #16 for over 30 years. He graduated from Wasson High School in 1970. In 1975, he graduated from Colorado State University with a B.S. in Business Administration with an emphasis on Finance and a minor in Political Science. Since 1977, Larry has worked as a Financial Consultant with RBC Dain Rauscher in Colorado Springs. He is now First Vice President of the firm.
Larry has been married to his wife, Mary Ann, for 24 years. She is an attorney. Their daughter, Katarina is a student at Denver University. Larry is an active member of the First Presbyterian Church in Colorado Springs. In his spare time, Larry enjoys golf, hiking, skiing and a good book on history.
Larry has been active in Colorado Springs. He is an active member of the Downtown Rotary Club of Colorado Springs since 1985. He served four years on the El Paso County Highway Advisory Committee. From 2000-03, Larry served on the Board of directors of the American Red Cross, Pikes Peak Chapter.
Larry has been a leader in local, state and national Republican politics. He is a graduate of the inaugural class of the Republican Leadership Program in 1989 and the Campaign Management School of the Leadership institute in 1999. Larry serves as a Pct. Committee person and has been the Chairman of HD # 16 since 1997. In 1998 and 2002, Larry served as a county chairman for Gov. Bill Owens. In 2000, he Co-chaired the local campaign for President George Bush and was elected as a delegate for President Bush to the Republican National Convention and in 2001 was recognized as the Republican of the year by the leadership of El Paso County. Larry was elected statewide as the Vice Chairman of the Colorado Republican Party and served from 2001-03. He has served on the executive committee of the local party for several years.
